fishing in Carnia

Carnia is not just a place to fish, but a veritable "system" designed for sport fishermen. A fundamental step in this regard was the establishment of the Carnia Fishing Guide association in 2024.

The waters of Carnia are famous for their clarity and for the presence of prized species.

Here are some of the most renowned watercourses: Fella River, Alba River, Aupa River, Glagnò Torrent, Bût River, Tagliamento River, and Degano River.

The undisputed queen of these waters is without a doubt the Marmorata Trout, but we also find Brown Trout, Hybrids, Brook Trout, and Grayling.
